At each session, you will be greeted by enthusiastic instructors ready, just like you, to Step It Up to the next level of fitness toward a healthier lifestyle.
On the first day of Step It Up, you will register and participate in exercises to determine your current level of fitness as a baseline to measure your success. Based on the initial evaluation, you will then be grouped with fellow class members of the same fitness level who will provide vital encouragement and motivation as you focus on stepping up to the next level of fitness.
Typically, early morning sessions start at 5:30 AM and last one hour and mid morning sessions that generally begin 8:30 am - 10:25 am. Our certified instructors will:
- Check your daily food journal and food intake
- Help you "Step It Up" – take
you to the next level of fitness
- Increase your energy level
- Increase your strength, endurance and flexibility
Over a 30-day period, you will participate in a nutrition program based on the food pyramid, consumption of appropriate amounts of water, and keep a food and nutrition journal to document food intake. It requires no pre-packaged meals and all food products are available off the grocery shelf. At each session, instructors will check your journal and make appropriate recommendations.
Throughout the program, instructors will help you to increase your energy
level, strength, endurance, and flexibility and guide you to the next level of better health.
To Step It Up, all you and your friends and family will need is:
- Cross Training shoes
- Water bottle
- Good attitude
* Step It Up recommends a good quality cross training shoe that is well broken-in but continues to provide support and stable footing.
